Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 15, 2026
Our Commitment
INSTAR Lab Inc. is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to the widest possible audience, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to meet the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, as applicable to our programs and activities as a federally engaged nonprofit.
We recognize that achieving full accessibility is an ongoing process, not a single destination. We actively work to identify and remediate accessibility barriers on this Site and welcome feedback from users who encounter difficulties.
Measures We Take
To support accessible use of this Site, INSTAR Lab endeavors to:
- Provide text alternatives (alt attributes) for meaningful images.
- Use semantic HTML elements that support screen reader navigation.
- Provide ARIA labels on interactive elements where native semantics are insufficient.
- Ensure that form fields have associated visible labels.
- Maintain sufficient color contrast for body text and interactive elements.
- Support keyboard-only navigation for primary site functions.
Known Limitations
While we strive for broad accessibility, we acknowledge that some portions of this Site may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We do not claim full certified compliance at this time. Areas we are actively working to improve include:
- Keyboard accessibility of complex navigation mega-menus on desktop viewports.
- Color contrast of certain decorative UI elements inherited from the underlying theme.
- ARIA landmark roles on all page regions.
We are committed to addressing these issues as we continue to develop and maintain the Site.

Accessibility of this Site relies on the following technologies working together in your browser: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA. The Site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and assistive technologies including common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
